Balloons Tunes and BBQ

Hot air balloonists from all over the country will converge on Bowling Green to compete for prize money. Hot air balloon competitive events will be held throughout the weekend, testing the skill set of some of the sport’s best pilots. Hot air balloons will be on display Friday evening at dusk for the ever popular Balloon Glow – and tether rides, weather and wind permitting – with competitive events kicking off Saturday morning. Crowd favorite Hare and Hound Race lift off will be Saturday afternoon and the final fly-in event will be just after daylight on Sunday morning. All Balloon Activity is subject to weather and wind conditions. Our first priority is the safety of the pilots, crew members and volunteers involved with the Balloons. If at any time, conditions are present or develop then the Balloons will be grounded for that specific competition or event. The decision whether to continue or to cancel the event will be at the sole discretion of the competition organizers and Balloon Meister.
